Congratulations Vikki Freeman winner of the Livia Properties: Women in Trades $2,000 award!

Vikki Freeman came to the NSCC Pictou Campus to study Automotive Service & Repair Technician program. “As a single mother, I've had various experiences with automotive shops in various places taking advantage of a young woman who didn't know the difference between a brake pad and a calliper. Not only does it secure reliable employment, it also gives me an important skill to share with my daughter and ensures she will have the knowledge to advocate for herself no matter what she decides to pursue as a career.” say Vikki.

Congratulations Vikki and good luck in your studies this year!
