#GivingTuesday

At the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia we’re gearing up for our first ever #GivingTuesday campaign!

This is a day we get together with people all over the world to celebrate the positive impact that giving, volunteering, and kindness makes in our communities. It’s always the Tuesday after Black Friday, and that means this year, it’s November 28th .

This year we’re excited to make even more progress towards helping rural Nova Scotia. Join us at 1pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2023 for our #GivingTuesday Facebook Live event here . Special guests will include Dave Gunning and Drake Jensen for live interactive interviews.

Thank you so much for your continued support!

The Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia (RCFNS) is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and resilience of rural communities across the province. Through various initiatives, the foundation has successfully supported numerous community-driven projects addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

One significant event that contributes to the success of these initiatives is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. #GivingTuesday serves as a catalyst for generosity and philanthropy. RCFNS actively participates in this movement by organizing campaigns and promoting the spirit of giving within rural Nova Scotia. The funds raised during #GivingTuesday enable the foundation to expand its reach, provide essential resources, and implement sustainable solutions in rural Nova Scotia communities.

This support plays a pivotal role in empowering rural Nova Scotia communities, fostering local leadership, and inspiring positive change throughout rural Nova Scotia.
